This page tells you which cookies and similar technologies flicono AI uses on the website flicono.ai and in the web application app.flicono.ai, for what purpose and how long they are stored.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They make it possible to recognize you on your next visit, keep your settings or preserve your sign-in status. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage in the browser.
2. Which cookies do we use?
2.1 Technically necessary cookies (always active)
These cookies are strictly necessary to operate the website and the app. They are set on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Consent is not required.
| Name | Purpose | Retention period | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|

flicono_ref | Remembers the referral code when you arrive via a partner's link | 30 days | flicono AI (first party) |
flicono-theme (localStorage) | Light / dark mode setting in the app | until deleted in the browser | flicono AI (first party) |
flicono-tms-hinweis (localStorage) | Remembers that you closed the note about the previous flicono TMS | until deleted in the browser | flicono AI (first party) |
flicono-accent | Reseller accent color (white-label setup) | 1 year | flicono AI (first party) |
Stripe cookies (__stripe_*) | Secure payment processing, fraud detection | Session / 1 year | Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Ireland) |
2.2 Reach measurement without cookies
On the website flicono.ai we measure reach with Vercel Web Analytics. No cookies are set and nothing is stored on or read from your device. Only aggregated information about the page view is recorded: page visited, referring source, country, device type, operating system and browser. The IP address is not stored; it only feeds into a non-reversible short-term hash that is discarded daily.
Since no information on your device is accessed, no consent under Section 25 of the German TDDDG is required. Details are in our privacy policy under section 9.1.
2.3 Optional cookies
We do not use any optional cookies that require consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / Section 25(1) TDDDG). That is why there is no cookie banner on our pages.
3. Can I delete or block cookies?
We only use technically necessary cookies, which do not require consent. You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Please note: if you block technically necessary cookies, not all functions of the app can be used (e.g. sign-in, payment).
4. How do you disable cookies in your browser?
Common browsers offer options in their settings to manage or delete cookies:
- Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Firefox: support.mozilla.org → Enhanced Tracking Protection
- Safari: support.apple.com → Manage cookies and website data
- Edge: support.microsoft.com → Delete cookies in Microsoft Edge
5. Cookies in the mobile app
The flicono AI mobile app does not use cookies in the classic sense, since it runs natively. Instead, comparable local storage mechanisms (SharedPreferences, Keychain entries) are used to store your sign-in status, language setting and, where applicable, push token. A separate overview can be found in the app settings under “Privacy”.
6. Privacy policy
Which other personal data we collect and process can be found in our privacy policy.
